Ada Güvenir (1997) is an animation filmmaker and visual artist born and raised in Izmir, Turkey. She studied Audiovisual Arts in KASK School of Arts in Gent. After completing her masters degree, her graduation film ' Would You Please' was selected in film festivals around the world and won the VAF Wildcard prize which awarded her with a budget for her next project. Her new film ‘As If It Could’ was released in 2023 and is going around in festivals. She is currently doing a PhD in Luca School of Arts C-mine and working as a lecturer in the Audiovisual Arts department as well as remaning active in the film industry. 

 Her doctoral research is around the themes of humour, immigration, perception and animation.
